Over 500 of New York’s top newscasters, local celebrities, journalists and entertainment professionals gathered to honor their peers at the ceremony held at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. Celebrating their 10th anniversary in June 2010, EscapeMaker.com, profiles local getaways and day trips within a day’s drive or train ride of New York City. Along with New York State partners from the Greater Niagara Region, Lewis County, Madison County, Dutchess County and the Town of Southampton, the "Tastes of New York" 4-part series hosted by Marissa Copeland, highlights local culinary treats, pick-your own fruit farms, orchards, wineries and agri-tourism related events and festivals across the state. In addition, like EscapeMaker.com, the series encourages environmentally responsible modes of transit like Amtrak, Metro-North and renting hybrid cars. Accepting the award were Caylin Sanders, Executive Producer of the series and President of EscapeMaker.com and Holly Faison, Producer, Factory Films. “We are so proud of this award and so grateful to all the tourism bureaus we worked with and the N.Y.
