Dear EscapeMakers - Amtrak's Vintage Dome Car returns to the Adirondack® service for the fall, September 28th through October 29th! An upper level with windows on all sides, as well as overhead, will provide superb panoramic views all the way from Albany, along Lake Champlain and across the border into Montreal!The Dome Car will be available on the northbound Adirondack® on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays; and on the southbound Adirondack® on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. It does not travel on Wednesdays. Seats in the Dome Car are an added amenity to the Adirondack® Service, i.e. you cannot buy a specific ticket, seats are not reserved and only available on a first-come, first-served basis. All passengers traveling between Albany and Montreal are welcome to enter to enjoy the scenery and the conductors oversee the seating and work hard to make sure everyone gets some time in the Dome Car.
