November 2: The 7th Annual New York State Craft Brewers Festival (Syracuse, NY)
The unique fest features over 150 specialty craft beers from breweries of every region of New York State, poured by the brewers themselves! There will also be savory food samples provided by some of Syracuse’s best eateries, vendors, and fun with friends. Make a full weekend adventure out of it and stop at the Brew Central craft beer trail in Central New York on your way back to the city!
November 2-3: Narrowsburg Logging Days (Narrowsburg, NY)
Head up to Sullivan County in the Catskills for a weekend celebrating the local heritage and logging traditions. Experience lumberjack competitions, pancake breakfasts, tours, history and more!
November 3: New York City Public Markets Festival (New York, NY)
Celebrate the delicious history and continuing presence of NYC’s public markets and their unique local producers at a New York City Public Markets Festival. This FREE market showcase will take place in the historic Seaport District NYC. Come out from 11am – 5pm on November 3rd to sample the food and cultures of NYC’s public markets and local NYS craft beverages. Presented by NYCEDC. November 3: Maker’s Markets, Winter Series (Claverack, NY)
Olde York Farm Distillery is having a series of indoor Maker’s Markets taking place 12pm-5pm with local vendors and Mei’s Handmade Dumplings. Drinks at the bar and food from Mei’s Dumplings will be available until 7pm. Stay for the weekend in Columbia County and explore the area — might we suggest a cozy night or two at Hudson’s Croff House bed & breakfast?
November 9: Apple Pressing Party at Samascott Orchards with Nine Pin Cider (Albany, NY)
Join the Nine Pin crew as they once again press over 100 varieties of Samascott Orchardsand wild foraged apples LIVE into one “MONSTER” cider blend and celebrate all things pressed. This year’s party will also feature the release of the 2018 batch of The Cider Monster! Throughout the day the apple press will be running, cider will be pouring, and we will have live music.
November 10 – 17: Central New Jersey Restaurant Week (Central NJ)

November 16: Saratoga Springs Wine & Chocolate Festival (Saratoga, NY)
Wineries and wine enthusiasts from across the region will gather for an unlimited sampling of dozens of fabulous wines of all styles and tastes. Buy bottles from your favorite wineries, distilleries and cideries. All wine samples and the souvenir wine glass are FREE with your paid admission.
November 18: National Apple Cider Day (Ithaca, NY)
Celebrate this national cider-loving holiday in the Finger Lakes! With the highest density of craft cideries in NY state—10 within a 30-minute radius—it’s no surprise that cider lovers are flocking to Ithaca for a taste. In addition to the high quality cideries, Ithaca’s Cornell University and Cornell Orchards have been conducting extensive cider apple research. There are even undergraduate and graduate programs teaching students about cider apples and the cider making process. Many people know Ithaca and the Finger Lakes as a wine region, but cider is giving that industry a run for its money.
