Dear EscapeMakers – Summer may be coming to an end, but there’s much to look forward to this Fall. Here are our top 6 picks for Fall Fun in the Sullivan Catskills:
1. The Farmhouse Project’s Makers Market
Saturday & Sunday, September 1 & 2 – 11am-6pm
This Labor Day Weekend, The Farmhouse Project, a lifestyle blog and home goods brand, are hosting a one-of- a-kind market in a historic barn. The Makers Market, a modern interpretation of the traditional craft fair, will be a unique two-day market of carefully curated artisans from local studios and workshops throughout the region. Along with these local makers, The Arnold House will provide an amazing farm-fresh BBQ and local musicians will create a lively and festive atmosphere with great vibes. A great place to start your holiday shopping – just saying.
2.The Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods
Sundays, September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 – 11am-4pm
Family fun at its finest! 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the Harvest Festival – which celebrates the bounty, talent and beauty of the Sullivan Catskills. Begin your day with a Farm to Table Brunch in the market sheds; then set up a blanket and listen to live music
in front of the festival stage. Snack on BBQ, kettle corn or hand-cut French fries. Stock up on specialty and prepared foods; bring home farm fresh produce and meat. With a variety of craft and artisan goods, you’re sure to find something new for you or the home. Best part – there’s plenty to occupy the kids… pony rides, a corn maze, and interactive arts and crafts and activities. Admission is free, parking is $3. No pets, please.

Family friendly, free admission – make a day of it.
