Dear EscapeMakers — Break away from your normal summer
routine and explore what Central New York agritourism has to offer! Bite into farm-fresh fruit while walking through a local farmers market or sip on a refreshing brew at one of the many breweries. Spend a sunny day with the kids at a u-pick blueberry farm where you can fill your basket with sweet, organic fruit.
Did you know? Brewery Ommegang has a “Game of Thrones” series in which they’ve created beers inspired by the GOT story line. They also recently underwent an expansion giving them much more bar space and cafe seating. Gather some friends for Firepit Fridays at Brewery Ommegang this summer!
As you make your way through Central New York, get a u-pick experience at Critz Farms! Check out the selection of blueberries and strawberries while enjoying a refreshing hard cider after a long day of picking. In early August, stop by the Blueberry Jam and spend the day full of live music, craft beverages and family entertainment.
