The Blueberry Festival was designed as an annual family fun festival. It gives reference to the Blueberry Industry that once was an important part of our area and culture. The Blueberry Festival also gives our community the opportunity to showcase itself to those from outside our area. It is a "give-back" for all the hard work each and every one of us contributes to making our community what it is. Arts, Crafts, Handmades, Clothing, Jewelry, Accessories, and more. Lots of "Blueberry Goodies".
Open Farm Days is a FREE 2-day annual event that invites visitors to experience local agriculture up-close. On Saturday and Sunday, from 12-4pm each day, farms across Tompkins County, New York will open their gates, barns and pastures to the public for farm tours, demonstrations, food tastings, and animal interaction for an afternoon of family-friendly farm fun! An annual street festival held on the second Sunday in August hosted by the Monticello Chamber of Commerce. Vendors line Bagel Boulevard (Broadway) from 9-4 with musical performances, family activities, and a bagel triathlon.
