EscapeMaker Offering Free Weekend Getaways to Healthcare Workers Post-Pandemic

In support of National Tourism Week @SpiritofTravel, the public can nominate their deserving friend, colleague, family or community hero to win a free local getaway in the NYC tri-state area from EscapeMaker and lodging partners ­ – once local travel is green-lighted again., a guide to local farm, food, wine and craft beverage getaways within a day’s drive or train ride from New York City for the last 20 years, is partnering with local Northeast inns and bed & breakfasts to give away free local vacations to be taken in 2021 and beyond (or when normal travel resumes) to healthcare workers and first responders amid the pandemic.

EscapeMaker is calling for nominations from the public describing their friend, colleague, family member or community hero’s impact on the frontlines or a story about who they have helped in 1000 words or less. Multiple winners will be chosen every few weeks to receive an overnight weekend getaway vacation package to various inns and bed and breakfasts from the regions just outside New York City, including the Hudson Valley’s Rushmore Estate and the The Croff House Bed & Breakfast and Central New Jersey’s Chauncey Hotel, among others.
