Walkway Over the Hudson in partnership with Dutchess County Government and the City of Poughkeepsie will once again host the Think Differently Dash, Saturday, June 10, 10:00 a.m., Main Street, Poughkeepsie. The Think Differently Dash is a one mile run/walk celebrating individuals in our community with special abilities.  The run is $10 per person. Guaranteed t-shirts to all pre-registered by May 22, and finisher medals for all participants.  Together, we are proud to host this

The Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park—a 19th century railroad bridge transformed into the world’s longest linear park—hosts a weekend full of running memories in New York State’s beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley. Runners of all abilities are invited to take part in one of four flat, fast and scenic races—a marathon, half-marathon, 5K, and the ThinkDIFFERENTLY Dash, a one-mile run for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.

Choose from several mileage options (100, 75, 55, 33, or a family-friendly 15) and enjoy a beautiful ride in the Hudson Valley. Each route starts and ends in Poughkeepsie's Waryas Park and will take you over the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park. Includes breakfast, a finish festival and t-shirt; rides feature SAG support, fully stocked rest areas, ride marshals, and incredible views. On ride day, Metro-North suspends its bike permit requirements to allow

4th annual run through the vineyards. Post race celebration with live music, FREE wine tastings, food and fun! Awards will be given to the top performing athletes and the participants in the best costumes.
