Promote your
ADIRONDACK NORTH COUNTRY
Destination or Product to a NYC AUDIENCE
on Sunday, August 11th at the South St. Seaport!

Dear Tourism, Food & Beverage Partners,
A Cornell Cooperative Extension / Adirondack Regional Tourism Council Task Force is working to coordinate a "Taste of the Adirondack North Country" event on Pier 17 at Fulton Stall Market in the South St. Seaport. The one-day event is planned for Sunday, August 11th.
Similar past events held in the outdoor space attracted 8000-10,000 NYCers, see photo albums.

If you're a craft beverage or food producer, marketer, innkeeper or attraction, showcase your food, beverages and destinations to a highly qualified demographic - many with disposable income and vacation time to travel to experience the North Country's rustic culture!

In addition to foodies and families who typically attend these tasting events, the event producers will be inviting NYC restaurateurs and food distributors to network with and source from Adirondack vendors. What a great way to get attention for your product or destination in the NYC marketplace!

If the Task Force can get enough co-sponsors to join in this effort, the region can showcase all that the Adirondacks has to offer - especially in the Fall and Winter for NYCers starting to plan their getaways!

The host, Fulton Stall Market, a unique non-profit farmer's market linking upstate producers with NYC has established itself as a hub for agritourism info and related events. The event producer, EscapeMaker.com, has for nearly 20 years, promoted NY agritourism, local food and travel destinations within a day's drive or train ride of NYC -- winning an Emmy Award for its webisode series featuring the tastes of Lewis County.

The spectacular waterfront space on Pier 17, where the Sunday farmer's market is regularly held, is being offered at cost to cover production expenses, knowing our Adirondack North Country-themed exhibitors will draw record crowds.

A multi-county group of producers have agreed to participate. In order to make this exciting event happen before peak leaf-peeping season, the Task Force needs a few more co-sponsors at the following SPONSORSHIP levels -

$500 = Exhibitor
- Showcase your destination and packages or sample and sell your food, wine or NY craft beverage. 1 tented space with table and seating, plus event parking.

$1000 = Sponsor - Showcase your destination and packages or sample and sell your food, wine or NY craft beverage, feature your logo in all digital promotions and receive social media promotion. Also includes 1 tented space for up to 2 partners with table and seating, event parking, stage promotion, and 1 dedicated eblast to 50,000 NYCers pre or post event.

$2500 = Presenter - Showcase your destination and packages or sample and sell your food, wine or NY craft beverage, feature your logo in all digital promotions and receive social media promotion. Also includes 2 tented spaces for up to 4 partners with table and seating, parking, stage promotion, and 3 dedicated eblasts to 50,000 NYCers pre or post event.

RSVP ASAP! If you would like further info or have questions, please email Michele Ledoux of Cornell Cooperative Extension or Ron Ofner of VisitAdirondacks by MONDAY, June 10th!

If you're unable to participate until next year, please reach out to express your interest regardless!
