Dear EscapeMakers -- The holiday season is
upon us! And experiences as a gift are one of the best ways to show
love and appreciation this time of year. For those who deserve a
little extra rest, relaxation (and fun!) this year, consider the
gift of an escape! From fly fishing trips to local wine trail passports
- there's a local travel experience just outside NYC that makes
the perfect stocking stuffer. Click

Don't
forget to "Deck
the Stalls" on December 16 & 23 - the
free NYCEDC holiday market series we're producing over the next
two weeks at Fulton Stall Market in the Seaport District.
Come for the music and stay for the endless local eats, wine, cider,
craft beverages and handmade holiday gifts. 11am - 5pm.
This Sunday, 12/16, "The
Good Morning Nags" will be back to perform all day and
at 1pm we'll have two dance performances by kids from the Peck
Slip School and Moving Mountains. Next Sunday, 12/23,
we'll have jazz music all day by the Michael Feinberg Trio
and the Lauren Lee Jazz Project and then an Appalachian folk
dance performance by Max Rainwater at 1pm.
So much food and fun! Pick up the latest issue of Edible Manhattan,
try two new varieties of New York State apples, the "SnapDragon
Apple and the RubyFrost Apple," and get info
on weekend getaways in the Sullivan Catskills, only 2.5 hours
from NYC! Click here. |
