Visit Ithaca for Open Farm Days, August 10-11th. Cuddle a family of goats and then taste the award-winning cheese produced on site. Walk the orchards and learn about the process of making heritage cider. Or maybe you want to immerse yourself in a world of plants at the Magic Garden?

One weekend a year, farms not typically open to visitors located around the Ithaca area open their doors to the public during Open
Farm Days
! Farmers welcome in curious visitors, teaching them about their animals, plants and farm life. A two-day affair, the weekend begins on the East side of Cayuga Lake on Saturday, and then focuses on the West side on Sunday. Meet the hard-working farmers, experience the culture and the lifestyles that feed this colorful community.
