SUMMARY:18th Annual Mardi Gras at Cayuga Lake Wine Trail
DESCRIPTION:Get a taste for Bourbon Street\, but with wine! Fat Tuesday is February 25th\, so this is your chance to get the party started early! Collect your beads as you travel the Trail sampling Creole and Cajun-inspired food and wine pairings. There’s also a chance to win prizes at each winery. Turn in your filled-out ticket to your last stop to be entered into the grand prize drawing for a mixed case of CLWT wine! \nSaturday 10-5pm\, ALL 14 wineries are participating.\nSunday 10-5pm\, ALL 14 wineries are participating. \nTickets: \nEach ticket is good for the whole weekend\, to visit each winery once. \nSingle tickets are $35(plus tax and service fees) and include: \n\n1 souvenir wine glass\n1 wine and food pairing at each winery\n3 additional wine tastings per winery\n1 recipe collection\nBeads at each winery\nA chance to win a prize at each winery\n\nDiscounted designated driver tickets are available. The DD gets all the same perks as a regular ticket\, minus the wine. They also get a DD travel mug\, rather than a wine glass. $17.50 (plus tax and service fees) for a single. \nBe sure to buy your tickets early\, we have a limited amount available. \nPackages that offer tickets\, transportation and accommodations will also be available. \nIf you’re part of a large group (15+)\, we ask that you contact the office for scheduling assistance. We try to keep track of\, and maintain\, as many large groups as we can to prevent overflow and clogs at the wineries. After last year’s SOLD OUT event\, they e are extremely excited to bring this premier New York State craft cider celebration back to Nine Pin Cider in Albany. This year will be their 6TH ANNUAL Gathering and we are excited to have some new cideries joining us! \nOn Saturday 2/29/2020\, join them on Nine Pin’s production floor with farm cideries from all corners of New York for a tasting and market experience that only New York State can offer. Enjoy free samples of unique batches of ciders all made from New York apples with the ability to purchase limited and exclusive ciders by the growler\, bottle\, and can to go! \nThey will also have food trucks serving up some delicious food! \nHappy to have back 102.7 WEQX – The REAL Alternative in the house doing a LIVE broadcast from the event again this year! \nThis will be a ticketed event with two sessions (12-3pm and 4-7pm). Tickets include 3 hours of sampling of a huge diversity of NYS ciders\, a branded Gathering of the Farm Cideries tasting glass\, and access to purchasing extremely rare and unique ciders. The Gathering has SOLD OUT every year\, so make sure you get your tickets in advance. Tickets in advance through eventbrite are $25. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the New York Cider Association.
