Chef Paul demos one of our favorite lunches at Fulton Stall Market – a grilled cheese sandwich made with Cabot Cheese and a hearty tomato bisque soup!
TOMATO BISQUE RECIPE:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 3 cups of chopped onions
- 1 cup of chopped celery
- 2 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup of rice flour
- 3 – 28-oz cans of tomatoes
- 1 tbsp of baking soda
- 4 cups of half & half
- 1/2 tsp of hot sauce
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 tsp of celery seed
- 1/2 tsp of honey
- 2 tsp salt and 2 tps pepper
Simmer 20 minutes and serve. Makes 12 Servings.
