If
you are staying overnight and on foot, Hotel Brunswick is the best choice.
When you exit the bus and train depot,
just take the #3 Park City line bus. Fare is $1.25. It will drop you right in the
heart of town, in front of Hotel Brunswick on Chestnut St. Rates start at
$89 per night.
Otherwise you
can take a taxi out to one of the many nearby area bed and breakfasts or
hotels on Route 30 like the Ramada and the Holiday Inn. The Lovelace
Manor Bed & Breakfast, just off Route 30, has been described as one of
the most elegant examples of the Second Empire architectural style in the region.
Just outside of Lancaster in the town of Mount Joy, the Hillside Farm Bed &
Breakfast offers spacious and comfortable rooms in a 19th-century farmhouse.
Once a dairy farm, the Hillside Farm B&B is surrounded by the largest area of
farmland left in Lancaster County. The Rose Manor House sits in
a quiet neighborhood and is surrounded by herb gardens and roses. Or you can stay
at one of the most photographed homes in Lancaster County, The Limeston Inn.
Other lodging options include O'Flaherty's Dingeldein House, The Noble House,
the Olde Square Inn and the Vogt Farm Bed & Breakfast.
The
Harvest Moon Bed and Breakfast in New Holland is just your
place to start a day of exploration. While there, be sure ask for your complimentary
"Get Lost" Package.
Camping is available at the Old Mill Stream Camping
Manor, accessible by the #14 Rockvale line bus from downtown.
