The Hamptons are synonymous with laid back sophistication, scintillating nightlife, serene roads displaying regal mansions and vast stretches of pristine beaches. If it's a perfect Hamptons getaway you're seeking, the Southampton Inn has everything you're looking for!

The Tudor-style Southampton Inn is located on a 5.4 acre, impeccably manicured campus in the heart of Southampton Village. In spring and summer, the flowering shrubs and graceful trees provide a wonderful backdrop for your peaceful retreat. Autumn brings vibrant and breathtaking changes to the leaves of the trees. The divine quiet of a Southampton winter is enhanced by the cozy environment of the Inn. Although there are 90 attractive guest rooms on the property, personalized service and distinctive touches make it feel more like a bed and breakfast.

Just beyond the check-in desk, the airy, stylish lobby has an inviting seating area with a nicely stocked library. It's a lovely location for curling up with a book or, in the fall and winter, basking in the warm glow of the fireplace. There is a piano in the lobby which guests will sit down and play on occasion. You never know when you can experience an impromptu concert!

If you're just looking to enjoy a beautiful day on the expansive lawns, you can relish the serenity of the grounds in one of the many Adirondack chairs located around the property. You will be served wherever you please on the campus—cocktails are brought right to your little slice of heaven.

Southampton is a wonderful place to visit during any season of the year—and the Southampton Inn is ideal whether you have a car or not. You are just steps away from an extraordinary array of clothing and jewelry shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and much more! One block from the Inn and you are in the midst of the refined and charming Southampton Village where there is an abundance of cultural offerings as well. The Parrish Art Museum features exhibitions, lectures, films and concerts for all ages. The Southampton Historical Museum, located in a 160 year-old mansion, is the local history archive and provides insight into the background of the region. The Shinnecock Nation Cultural Center & Museum, shares the history of Long Island's indigenous people through artifacts, photographs and murals from the past 10,000 years. As the day is winding down, you can catch a film at the United Artists Southampton Theatre, one block away from the Inn.

The celebrated Coopers Beach is just one mile away. During the summer season, a complimentary, polka-dotted beach shuttle takes guests and their beach accessories right to the sand—which also helps you avoid the parking fees. The Inn will provide beach chairs as well as delicious box lunches to bring with you. The views are magnificent—on one side, the Atlantic Ocean, on the other, majestic mansions in the distance. The pure, sandy beaches of Long Island's South Shore invite leisurely strolls, beachcombing and unwinding to the soothing sounds of the sea.

If you are venturing further away from your home-base, the friendly, helpful staff will help set up any day trips you're interested in. Opportunities for exploration and adventure abound whether you're interested in fishing, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, bicycle and horseback riding, golf, vineyard or lighthouse tours—the list goes on and on!
