Why
not visit the Keansburg Amusement Park with the kids? Academy Buses
drop you right at their door.
Just a short ride from Port
Authority, the Keansburg Amusement Park features roller coasters and thrill
rides, (open mid-March through mid-October), a water park (open late May to early
September) and kiddy rides in a carnival-style atmosphere.
Try out The Double Shot,
a ride that launches you up 100 feet and then blasts back down again. Experience
two more new rides: the Chaos, a rocking rollercoaster with light show, and
the Tornado—it's a twister! Other attractions include a go-kart
track, batting cages, a rock climbing wall and prize booths.
Prices are reasonable with
a pay-as-you-ride system (.75 per ticket). They also offer $9.95 Friday night specials
and a $27.95 combo for the waterpark and amusement park.
If the excitement overwhelms
you, pack a picnic, stroll the boardwalk and relax at the small beach. In the summer,
there are nightly fireworks at dusk.
Make sure you get season
passes next year!
